Succession is an American drama TV series. This satirical drama series is created by Jesse Armstrong and was released in the year 2018 on HBO. The series focuses on the Roy family and their company. Succession has completed its two successful seasons and is ready to release its third one very soon. Succession Season 3 was about to release in the beginning of this year but due to the pandemic, it couldn’t. Finally, Succession Season 3 having nine episodes will be releasing on 17th October 2021 at 9 PM EST. It will stream on HBO and HBO Max. The news of its release is officially confirmed via tweet.
The cast of Succession Season 3
The new season will have the same Roys and Roy- adjacents along with some new members. The cast will include Sanaa Lathan as Lisa Arthur, a high-profile and well-connected lawyer in New York. Linda Emond will play the role of Michelle-Anne Vanderhoven, a White House staffer. We will also see Jihae playing as Berry Schneider, a public relations consultant and Hope Davis as Sandi Feornees, daughter of Logan’s long time rival, Sandy Feornees (Larry Pine).
Apart from these actors, two famous stars – Alexander Skarsgard and Adrien Brody are also joining the cast. After winning an Emmy for his performance in ‘Big Little Lies’, Alexander is returning to HBO in Succession Season 3. He will be portraying a successful confrontational tech founder and CEO as Lukas Matsson. On the other hand, Oscar winner Adrien Brody will appear as guest in this season. He signed on to play Josh Aaronson, a billionaire activist investor who further gets involved in family’s internal war.

HBO has released the trailer of the new season which shows that how a corporate battle turns into a family civil war. The main characters, Logan Roy and Kendell Roy are fighting to secure alliances. Meanwhile, Shiv is contemplating turning against the hand that has fed the family. But, she wants Kendell to let her take over the company only if she back his play.
However, the show’s executive producer Georgia Pritchett said that the show will most probably have four seasons. Moreover, she also mentioned that Jesse Armstrong is planning to frame a plot to wrap the series. This will be really sad for the fans of Succession who want the show to last forever.
