The King’s Man is an upcoming period action spy film directed by Matthew Vaughn. The third installment in the Kingsman film series, based on the comic book The Secret Service by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons, serves to prequel 2014’s Kingsman: The Secret Service and 2017’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle. Disney originally delayed the film due to their concern about competing with themselves. Initially, The King’s Man was scheduled for release in January 2020 [20th Century Fox] but this was postponed following the coronavirus pandemic which is still ongoing.
The King’s Man was originally scheduled to be released in November 2019 by 20th Century Studios, but production has been delayed several times.
Now the movie’s original release date is December 22, 2021, has been announced for the film due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The King’s Man was originally scheduled to be theatrically released on December 22, 2018, but its release date has been delayed for more than two years.
The film was originally scheduled for release on November 15, 2019. It was then changed to February 14, 2020, and finally pushed back to September 18, 2020, due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Following the delay of Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase Four films, The King’s Man was moved up two weeks to February 12, 2021. Hence there is a chance that the movie can still be delayed.
