The ghost of Tsushima is set in Japan in the year 1274. Ghost of Tsushima’s story takes place during a time when samurai were still heavily involved in Japanese society and politics, but also as they are being pushed aside by warriors from other countries. The ghost of Tsushima’s protagonist is Jin Sakurai – one of the last surviving members of an ancient clan after his hometown was destroyed by Mongol invaders. Though Ghost of Tsushima is based on a real historic event that happened in the past.
