Vampires are enemies featured in Skyrim and the Dawnguard, but you can play as a vampire with your character. In Skyrim, there are two types of vampires normal/the standard vampires and the Master vampires, then there is a Vampire Lord. You can become a normal vampire or a Vampire Lord in the game you can’t be both. In the end, you are still a vampire. Let’s cover the basics first and know how to become a normal vampire.
Becoming a Normal Vampire
All the vampires in Skyrim are affected by the Sanguinare Vampiris disease and they carry this disease within them. While fighting a vampire there is a chance that you will be affected by this disease. When you are affected by this disease your body will go through a transforming phase and you will have three days to cure it. If you didn’t cure it within three days you will be transformed into a vampire with its strength and its weakness permanently.
It says permanently but there is a cure where you can turn back to human or whatever your character was. You just have to do some quest to undo the process and you will be back to normal.
Becoming a Vampire Lord
Vampire Lord is only available in the Skyrim Dawnguard Quest. Without this quest, you won’t be able to obtain the power of a Vampire Lord and it is the strongest vampire in Skyrim. As said I the previous line to obtain the power of a Vampire Lord you will have to do some quest. Becoming a Vampire Lord is not as easy as becoming a normal Vampire. Vampire Lord has its own skill tree and has a normal human form and a Vampire Lord form. Also, people won’t attack when you are at your max feeding stage. This is the strongest Vampire in Skyrim.
