The director of the game Alexandre Letendre said,” Arcade will not come back. Removing this mode from our plan was a difficult decision, but allowed us to focus our efforts on the main campaign, transporting players into the heart of a modern day guerrilla revolution”. So it is very clear that their main motive is to focus on the main campaign.
Moreover, Far Cry 6 will be a two player co-o mode game. However you can play it solo too. Besides this, the upcoming game will be a bit different without the Arcade mode. Players will not be able to share the multyplayer map online.
More about Far Cry 6
A trailer of Far Cry 6 was released in May which showcased the new gameplay of the game. According to the trailer, there is a fictional island of Yara which is cut off from the rest of the world. The situation is 50 years prior to the game’s release. Because of this, Yara is just about to collapse as it is all left with the decaying town and murderous riots. The current leader of the island in the game is Anton Castillo, who is helpless too.
However the story of the game is inspired by the political unrest of real life. The director of Far Cry 6 very clearly mentioned that the story is political but the game is not trying to make a political statement about any leader or events.
