No Man’s Sky has been updated with a new update that includes flying pets and DLSS support. Prisms is the 3.5 update for No Man’s Sky, which is mostly focused on the game’s graphics quality and the aesthetics of the game. The Prism update adds a whole new mechanic to the game – pet companions! Players can now find and tame creatures called “Pets” around planets in No Man’s Sky. Some Pets have the ability to fly and also you can use them as your mounts! You will need to take care of your little friend so they don’t get too lonely.
What to Expect in the Update
As mentioned before the update is mostly focused on the visual quality of the game. The game now supports DLSS or Deep Learning Super Sampling which is a new graphics technique from Nvidia. Using this technique can improve the quality of textures and reduce aliasing on top of that, making No Man’s Sky look prettier.
In addition to this update players in No Man’s Sky are now able to enjoy screen space reflections (SSRs). These SSRs aim for a better reflection experience when looking at water or other reflective surfaces in the world around you. This will give it an even more realistic feel than ever before!
Added animals with fur; this means that aliens no longer look like reptiles, but can be furry or hairless.
Lastly, there are also some new flying pets along with land pets that players can enjoy. These will be great for exploring No Man’s Sky without worrying about losing your pet along the way!
There are also so many new stuff added to the game and fixes in this update that is not mentioned. This update is pretty much the update to change the perspective of the game and make it more enjoyable.
