There have been many changes in the game that made it look amazing than the original version. Changes such as the re texturing of the models and characters, lightings, visualization have been made. The audio quality is to the next level along with the soundtrack in the remaster. Not only this, Nocturne features Japanese and English voiceovers and is available with German, Italian, French and Spanish subtitles.

Another major change in the Remaster is the Demon Fusion. In the Demon Fusion, two or more demons fuse to form a more powerful version. Now, the players will have a direct choice to choose the skills that they want the newly formed Demon to inherit.

Apart from the changes, there have been some additions too. One such additional feature is that the players will have the ability to save the game before any battle without any save point now.  This makes the game easier to play for the Nintendo Switch fans. However, the story and gameplay of the game is not at all changed. It is the same as the original series.
