Dungeons and Dragons and Magic:The Gathering is coming this July in the Forgotten Realms set. Wizards of the Coast has confirmed the arrival of this year’s most amazing standard sets titled as ‘Dungeons and Dragons: Adventure in the Forgotten Realms’. Moreover, this will be launching alongwith a new Viking themed settings called Kaldheim. There is another gothic horror setting known as Innistrad. According to its name, the new standard set will bring the Dand D Forgotten Realms settings in MTG trading card. It comes with complete location, character faces as well as enemies from the roleplaying sessions.
What is the collaboration bringing for us?
Firstly, Dungeons and Dragons and Magic The Gathering will be arriving on 23rd July. If you are still playing the game, then you have a good news. Magic:The Gathering is now on MTG Arena which will very soon provide you with various Adventures in the Forgotten Realms. However the new crossover is bringing one of the biggest evil dragon named Tiamat. It is a five colored Legendary in MTG with the ability to pull around five dragons out.
Another one is the famous monster named Beholder, which is available in both normal and classic rulebook styles. Apart from all this, a four pre constructed commander deck will be out in this set. Moreover it will be double the amount to that of Kaldheim Commander Legends.
Dungeons and Dragons with Magic The Gathering a good investment?
Obviously, this collaboration seems to be a super big deal and players are going to love it. In the running expansion of Dand D, the story content was not considered to be that good. But, the standard set might bring new interest and excitement for the gamers as well as the story content. Furthermore players will be more surprised to see the MTG legends Jace Beleren and Liliana Vess. Classic Forgotten Realms heroes lke Drizzt Do’Urden will also be present. Overall it seems to be very interesting with updates and modified features.
