Resident Evil, one of the best action horror film series has revealed the release of its reboot. The upcoming masterpiece, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City will not be releasing on the expected date. Sadly, the date has been postponed.
New release date of Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City
However the was announced to be on 3rd September,2021. But it is delayed and thus fans have to wait for one more month. Sony pictures officially announced that the movie will be hitting the theatres on 24th November,2021. Although it’s a month late but finally it will be releasing after such a long wait.
Reason behind the delay!
Previously, it was delayed because of the Covid 19 pandemic. But now things are better and thus there are many other movies that are going to release very soon. However, the main reason behind the delay is not revealed as Sony has not given any statement on it.
According to the sources, the reason is said to be the release of Marvel movies– Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings on the same date(3rd September). So, we could believe that this is done to avoid the crash with such good movies.
Apart from this, many other movies’ release date has been shifted from their expected dates. Black Widow, Spiral:From the Book of Saw and Venom:Let there be Carnage are some of them.
